The new year stands before us, like a chapter in a book, waiting to be written. We can help write that story by setting goals. ~ Melody Beattie
Did you set some goals or resolutions for 2017? Maybe you didn’t say it out loud but you thought this year I am going to….[ insert your thought]. Those thoughts are rooted in the voice of the Seeker that comes out when you are ready to level up in your life. The Seeker within you is that one part of you that looks for the right group of people to resonate with. That right group who will raise your vibration and take you to the next level in your personal evolution.
This year I really noticed how much the voice of my inner Seeker was calling out for attention. This is the voice that wants to join a group and fit in by knowing everything there is to know about a group I want to be a part of. The Seeker suffers from newbie syndrome. You know what I am talking about the buy all the mala beads, meditation mats and music to make the experience of joining the group perfect. I could also say it is the voice that buys the new workout outfit so you look super cool at the gym for that ‘lose weight this year’ resolution. We all have a Seeker who is looking for a better way to help us take that next step.
In the Naipes cards, the Seeker is represented by the 10 cards. When these card shows up as the soul truth card, the first card pulled from the bottom of the deck. You know that you are about to make some major shifts in your life.
The 10 of coins indicates that you are about to find a resource for making your life easier which in turn gives you more power with your other resources. When you start seeing the coin cards in terms of resources instead of just money, then you open whole new doors of wealth. Resources can include people who give you opportunities, time to enjoy your family and friends, and / or new avenues for money to flow into your life.
What resources besides money do you have in your life? Do you have enough of that resource or do you need to seek more?
The 10 of cups indicates that you are seeking to expand your spiritual awareness. When this card comes up it is an indication that what you call your center is about to shift and move to a great understanding through gained knowledge or direct spiritual improvement. This card comes a lot when one of my clients is about to take a pilgrimage or take a class based in spiritual ideals. I will also see it when a client is adopting better quality habits in their life.
What new level of spiritual understanding are you seeking this year?
The 10 of clubs represents the Seeker looking for a vocation. This is the place where the soul and the mind meet and seek a calling. For this Seeker voice, it requires that you be open to doing what you love most and letting that love expand into what brings you resources for a better life. Have you ever heard people say “I love my work so much that it doesn’t even feel like work.”? Well that is exactly what this Seeker brings into your life.
What are you called to do?
The 10 of spades represents the Seeker in activist form. At first they may appear to be the Protector voice looking for some attention, but in reality this voice is seeking a better way for society to behave and treat one another. I saw a lot of this during the 2016 election season. This Seeker was screaming loud and clear that something needed to change, and so people stepped up and protested. This card brings with it some harsh realities and can make people feel like they misplaced their loyalty to a cause or minimize the effect of their protest. This Seeker may even get so caught up in the endorphins after the protest that they become a part of the professional activist movements all over the world.
What better ways are calling out for attention from your Seeker this year? How will you give a voice to those ways?
Your challenge for this week is to sit and listen to your inner Seeker. Ask your Seeker the following questions:
Who will I be by the end of 2017?
What do I really need to make this happen?
Are there any groups or people that I need to seek out to raise my vibration to where I want to be?
Am I ready to adopt this way of being? If not, then what do I need to do to be ready?
If you are ready to find your true unified voice, then join me at one of the weekend intensives that I am hosting across the US this year.
